Mandela Homes will be accepting applications for a lottery to reopen our Studio, 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-bedroom Project Based Section 8 waiting lists. Income limits apply to qualify for these waiting lists. All applicants will be screened for eligibility. Use and occupancy restrictions apply.

Information sessions will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 3 PM and 6 PM.

Application Deadline
All applications must be postmarked, emailed, or delivered by hand by 4 PM on October 30, 2026 to the Mandela Homes Management Office at 1855 Washington Street, Boston, MA.
Lottery Information
The lottery will be held at 1 PM on December 3, 2026 at the Mandela Residents Cooperative Association.
The lottery will also be broadcast via Zoom.
